Pacino Plays Spector

Remember what was playing on the radio (or turntable) the first time you got ‘felt up’ (or ‘felt up’ someone else) ?

According to the upcoming  film on the life and murder trial of legendary record producer Phil Spector, it was one of his songs.

His ego was the size of Manhattan, equal evidently to his appetite for destruction.

Musically, however, he did make some incredible music with John Lennon, beginning with salvaging the miles of recording tape that would be pared down and released as The Beatles ‘Let it Be’ album.

While Spector is currently residing bar bars, his artistic and explosive personality, not to mention his insane latter day hair style, is being portrayed by the great Al Pacino.

The film will premiere March 24th on HBO.

Here’s a sneak peek.
